What Property Types Are Eligible for Purchase?
Hoosier Homes supports 1–2 unit single-family homes, PUDs, townhouses, condos, and eligible manufactured housing — when you occupy the home as your primary residence.
Hoosier Homes supports 1–2 unit single-family homes, PUDs, townhouses, condos, and eligible manufactured housing — when you occupy the home as your primary residence.
Hoosier Homes lists the property categories above, but your first mortgage — FHA, VA, USDA, or HFA conventional — still has to approve the specific house, condo project, or manufactured setup.
That means a condo can be “eligible” for Hoosier Homes on paper and still fail a project review, or a manufactured home can clear the DPA list and still miss foundation or title requirements for the first lien.
Ryan and Steve screen property type and location together so you do not lock into a contract that cannot reserve DPA.
Use this checklist when you are touring homes in participating counties.

| Property category | Must be on the Hoosier Homes eligible list |
| First mortgage | Must approve the specific home / project |
